CARA NEGRYCZ

Cara Negrycz is a New York City-based textile designer and artist whose creative journey began long before her professional career. As a teenager, she painted her own clothes and soon found herself customizing garments for friends.

Cara moved to New York City in 1989 to attend the School of Visual Arts and entered the design industry just as Adobe Photoshop was emerging. The new software quickly became an essential part of her creative process, opening up new possibilities for developing artwork.

Over the years, she has created textile and surface designs for brands including LeSportsac, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Target, Nordstrom, Kaufman, Perry Ellis, WestPoint Home, and Joseph Abboud.

Today, Cara continues to live and create in New York City, where she shares her life with her husband and two children.
